That's a good price. I get more curious about the Global Series all the time. They have some cool stuff.

It was cracked and separating from the neck. All tight now. I used a sliver of beer can to shove the epoxy into the crack. I glued the fret in with super glue. Bastard to set up though. I've had the neck off 3 times to crank the truss rod. Hard to get it right. Maybe it needs to rest a bit.

All my Bacchus are MIJ. I have 3 Jazz Basses and just waiting to receive a maple board Tele. They all play and feel great.

The Bacchus MIJ build quality is on par with the old 70s early 80s Tokai. IMO anyway.

I can easily say that my Bacchus LP is easily the best one I've had yet. The neck fits me perfectly and the finish feels great, although it was refinished by Udon. That probably makes a difference.

We need more Bass stuff. I got a Tokai Hard Puncher in Candy Apple Red. I like it, but I always go back to a Jazz Bass..,.they ( and T Birds ) seem to work better for me.

Global Series are produced in their factory in the Phillipines. Universe Series their entry level guitars manufactured in China. Go with Global Series.

So far all my stuff is Craft Series. But I just read that the quality is pretty hard core on the Global.

When they first started producing guitars in the Phillipines, luthiers from the Asaka facility trained the workers using the same manufacturing equipment as they were using.

Yes fairly. I'll have to get some measurements soon.

I like that! It's from the Professional Series too. By looking at the grain, I'd bet it's a higher-end model too.
